The Works of my Fingers

Psalms 9: 3&4

"3)When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4) What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

I've been enjoying the fall weather so much. I'm walking with the dogs every day enjoying the beauty of nature , fascinated to know that the God who is capable of creating the universe , loves me.... and that I am on  His mind. Me....... flawed and broken, sin-sick,  willful and full of wanderlust. He loves me.

I thought I had best post a few photos so you wouldn't think I've been slacking off in my knitting! This is a little project I've made for a sweet girl. I hope you like it Amber!!

I belong to a sock yarn swap on Ravelry and receive this great Opal sock yarn in a swap. These are socks for my daughter for Christmas.

These mittens are made with Noro Taiyo..... I love this yarn! I like the pattern too and will definitely make them again. I'll make a matching scarf and hat and my secret sister will be getting them for Christmas. I hope she enjoys them.

I've got a very sweet Debbie Bliss baby set made too, but you'll have to wait for later for a photo of it as I still have to sew on the buttons! So you see, I've been busy.
I have another pair of mittens on the needles, so watch for coming pictures of those too.

First Day Photo

My daughter wasn't to thrilled to have her photo taken the first day of school. "That's for little kids, mom. " I was told. I personally think it's for much older kids...... mother's in fact. After all, you only have a first day in Eighth grade once.

Can't you just read in her expression that she's not impressed with me?
Your mom thinks you are wonderful.
